The 'semel' aesthetic features the same deep, dark red colour of the 'bloed' aesthetic. It is a monochromatic clay with added grog in the shape of white mountain sand. It give a little more texture to the surface and breaks the up colour of the clay.

Installation
Use a size 10 wall drill bit to make a hole as deep as the fitting. (Tip: Mark the drill bit with tape for accuracy.)
Keep the fitting attached to the orb. Insert it into the hole, press it firmly against the wall, and twist the orb to tighten. The fitting expands inside the wall. Keep turning until it is firmly secured.
The orbs are interchangeable - simply unscrew one and replace it with another to experiment with colours and styles.
