This piece is formed from a large-scale composite of wild clays harvested across multiple regions. In the alle classification, all source materials are combined prior to shaping, creating a fully integrated clay body rather than a visible mixture.

Batch 03 shares the same base proportions as 01 and 02 but presents a lighter tonal result due to a higher concentration of kaolin sourced from the West Coast of South Africa.  

Natural variation in surface and tone is inherent to the material.

Installation

• Drill a hole using a size 10 masonry bit to the depth of the fitting (mark the bit with tape for accuracy).

• Keep the fitting attached to the orb. Insert into the hole, press flush against the wall, and twist to tighten. The internal fitting expands to secure the piece.

• Orbs are interchangeable and can be replaced without removing the wall fitting.
